OCEAN CITY GOLF COURSE
Willie Dunn Jr. designed the Ocean City Golf Course. A flat terrain is dominant in the layout with some slight hills which causes uneven lies. It features tree lined fairways along the course as well as shelters where golfers can rest. The layout is complemented with the picturesque meadows of the bay area.
The par 36 12-hole course measures 1,630 yards from the longest tees with a slope rating of 113 and course rating of 70. Most of the holes are short but the longest is located in the 10th measuring about 200 yards. The longest hole may give a challenge for beginners but using a wood club will let them finish easily.
Ocean City Golf Course is run by the city which is located near to an airport. Visitors of all ages can play the public course at a very affordable price with discounts for children and the seniors. Pro shop is available in the course as well as carts and rental clubs. Golfers are advised to bring their own golf bag to play.
