Ballamor Golf Club

Located at English Creek Avenue, Egg Harbor Township, Ballamor Golf Club brings golf enthusiasts a high-end golf course for a price of a public course. Originally, the course is private when it opened in 2001 and it became public in 2010. The change in personality of the course encourages the golfers more to play at its 7,098-yard layout. The par 72 18-hole golf course has a course rating of 74.2 and a slope rating of 136 on Bent grass.

The course is known for its signature 5th hole which challenges novice and experienced golfers. Players are advised to hit their drives left-center which will make their shot safe to the right. For a safe shot, the second shot must be placed to the right and firing an iron from mid to long towards the two-tiered green.

Popular architects Ault, Clark & Associates designed the course in a traditional out-and-back routing. The game will start at the first tee and it will only return to the clubhouse on the 18th hole. This layout allows a faster game and golfers who want some refreshments can avail it at the halfway house. The course offers a tranquil ambiance as the layout is not confined with any houses as well as the traffic’s unavoidable sounds along each hole.

The course received recognition from Golf Magazine as the 4th best public course in the state of New Jersey. Test your skills at Ballamor Golf Club and avail any of the several membership programs that will suit your needs.
